Remote BackupPosted by Administrator in remote backup , offsite , flooding , disaster recovery , backup |
Is it good enough just to take a daily backup?
Backups are needed not only to secure a copy of your data but to be able to revert to earlier versions for history. So you need to manage your backups in a cycle.
So you need to keep managed backups. Where should you keep them? In a draw in the office?
We would say NO!! Backup data should be kept away from the the office to ensure against fire, theft and flood.
