A form of data communication over standard copper telephone wires between a local telephone subscriber and the telephone exchange, whereby the capacity of the line is increased in bandwidth to enable the carriage of both voice and data simultaneously. The asymmetry of the circuit provides greater down load capacity than up load. |

The name given to a file (document, spreadsheet, sound, picture, etc) which is sent alongside an E-mail. |
| AUTOEXEC.BAT |
A batch program (set of commands) that is automatically carried out by the DOS operating system whenever the computer is started or restarted. The file contains basic start-up commands that help configure the system. AUTOEXEC.BAT is performed after the CONFIG.SYS file. |
